Every cup of coffee has a story, and ours begins more than 60 years ago in France.
Long before Le Cafe de Paris opened its doors in Orlando, Claude was learning the art of coffee from his father and grandfather in the Moselle region of France. At just 12 years old, he began working alongside them, developing a passion for coffee that would shape the rest of his life.
Over the years, Claude refined his craft and went on to open several cafés in the Metz area. It was there that he met Chantal, whose background in French baking and cuisine perfectly complemented his love of coffee. Together, they built a life centered around hospitality, family, and sharing great food and coffee with others.
When Claude and Chantal moved to Orlando and opened Le Cafe de Paris in 2006, they were determined to create a coffee blend that reflected the traditions they had brought with them from France. They spent time researching local coffee roasters and ultimately partnered with a small, family-owned Orlando roasting company that shared their values and commitment to quality.
Today, that partnership continues. Our roaster imports premium beans from Colombia, Costa Rica, and Ethiopia and carefully roasts our custom blend in their Orlando warehouse. Together, we've spent nearly two decades perfecting the smooth, balanced flavor that our guests have come to know and love.
After serving this beloved blend exclusively at Le Cafe de Paris for 19 years, we decided it deserved a name of its own. Earlier this year, Sweet Bean Coffee Co. was born - a way to celebrate the coffee our guests have enjoyed for nearly two decades and to share it with even more people.
Today, Sweet Bean Coffee is available at Le Cafe de Paris, online with nationwide shipping, and at our local Ace Hardware. As we continue to grow, we're always excited to explore opportunities to bring Sweet Bean to additional local businesses and retail locations.
